Tithing

Everything is going good here in Pulupandan! The weather is great and I am doing great! We had two Christmas baptisms and the first Bago stake baptism ever! We had two on December 25th and it was a white Christmas here in the Philippines!! I was sooo excited for them!! The Lord helps all those who are willing to exercise upon the word! And he will help us, he will never leave us alone!! He loves all of us and we are all his children.

Well, as I was in our zone conference with President Lopez, he taught us one doctrine that NEEDS to be taught to all recent converts and less active members which is the law of tithing! My thoughts were why?? But I realized why we need to. Tithing is soooo important!! It is something that we should want to do every day because of the miracles and help, but only once a month. The first is We can enter into the temple if we pay our tithing, the second we WILL have food on

our table for our families, and third we will not be burned at the second coming if we pay our tithing.   And you may be thinking, “Why would you want to tell an investigator that?” The answer is because boldness brings miracles. It may hurt them because “the truth hurts the wicked hearts” but it will allow the Holy Ghost testify to them that these things are true! Also most people think tithing is, we have 100 dollars we pay 10 that equals 90 for us. But it is actually ...we have 100 we pay 10 we have 100++++ What great blessings these are!!

But this is what I learned in zone conference and I ask of you to just share me...  one experience that you have had or blessing from paying tithing.  Just one!! So I may share it with our less active, investigators, and recent converts!  Thank you so much!
