Beautiful ...for miles!

Had to walk 10 minutes to an investigators house... Had no umbrella. But look at that smile!!

Hiding under banana leaves ...trying to stay out of the rain!

Rice fields... You have to stay on the pathways to get where your going.

So, after we talked to this person at a store... we walked by their house on the feista day and they just invited us to eat.. so we ate pork, chicken, rice, pancit, fish, coke, vegtables and so much foods! But ... only talked to them once! "Prospective investigtor" ...I think YES!

An Unforgettable Prayer

So this week... It was actually a pretty great week. It was Low on the teachings but high on the number or new investigators!!

I  actually want to share a story about one of them! The sisters in our area had a recent convert who's 16.  He ran away from his mom because they don't get along and had some disagreements.  But now, he is in our area so the Sister Missionaries asked us if we could visit him.  We ended up sharing to the whole family and these are the most GOLDEN investigators I have ever found so far on the mission. At the end of the prayer we asked the father if he could say it ... and his exact words that I will never forget are, "Ginu-o, salamat gid. Budlay ang kabuhi ko subong, pero nasabat ka ang pangamuyo ko upod sa sining elder johnson kag elder gadiano".  Or in english" Lord, thank you very much, my life has been hard right now, but you answered my prayers with Elder Johnson and Elder Gadiano."

We clicked right away and there are three kids 16,17,and 18 and then the dad. He is also a police officer. He is just like my dad ... so we clicked right away. It was the most amazing lesson that I've had in a long time..  Hope all are doing great! I keep you all in my prayers every day! Keep doing what the Lord wants of you. He will lead us to those who are ready .. IF we are worthy and willilng to follow!

Love Elder Johnson
